A short open letter to staff/management in this very popular local bar after unacceptable service at the New Year: I get that in the hospitality industry is incredibly stressful at times. Dealing with the public can always be a loop - there, done that, have the t shirts. I understand. But you work on one of the highest price performances in the city, known for a high quality drink to match that. Appropriately pour ground-shelf blood with a completely wrong mixer, then give attitude and anger to fit for no obvious reason? Not cool. This small bar is focused on jazz music and fantastic drinks! We went on a Wednesday evening, when it was a bit quieter. We we able to talk with the bartender (Chris, if I remember correctly) and some of the regulars. Fun!The drink menu is EXTENSIVE! Wow. You could come everyday for weeks and not have the same drink twice. Our drinks did not disappoint. Yum!They have jazz bands on Friday and Saturday evenings, and it gets crowded them. Plan according!

Best espresso Martini i ever had. Always crowded during racing season. But if you're patient, you can get a seat. Great to watch the bartender shaking that espresso martini! Great speak easy vibe. Def come back next season!

Super awesome mixologist a martini being made every moment and a great jazz band. If you like not being able to move in a bar well this is a place to go

Beautiful dark wood and green interior with a stylish bar. Service was excellent and attentive. Its finest trait is having Old Speckled Hen on tap.
