A wolf in sheep's clothing, don't be fooled by the unaccompanied facade of AltaEats. Preparations from start to finish on the shortened but equally excellent menu delights at all levels. Adored by the hearty scents that fill the restless space upon arrival, we started with the olive medal. Well seasoned with a signature note of cinnamon or cardamom, they did not last long. Although a difficult decision, we chose the Wellington, Scallops and Ente. All amazed, the au poivre crusted Wellington embraced the buttery filet. The duck perched atop cherry balm bliss. Last night was our first time to eat here and it was certainly worth the trip from Los Angeles. I love how it is in a very quiet area with a ton of parking, and for the fact that it is small and intimate, but not too small. It was busy on a Saturday night, but this only shows how many other diners also book bookings. Our server was very polite and the dishes came out immediately. We started with the Bacon Wrapped dates that are a personal favorite of me, so I loved them. I just had a great meal at this place. Friendly staff and welcoming ambience. We eat meat at rare occasions and decided to make these one of these special occasions. The lamb frame was the best I ever experienced. Curved and pan meerrot, the taste and texture was layered with a subtle touch of smoke. The beef Wellington was perfectly prepared rare and delicately balanced with all the components of this rich decadent dish. A party in your mouth if there is one!!! I have been to this restaurant twice and loved it both times! Last time I went was on Valentine's day...we had a reservation. They were running a little behind but opened up Altabeverages for those waiting for a table and kept pouring us free champagne and fed us cookies! We weren't waiting that long but it was a nice way to pass the time. At the restaurant there was a nice tasting menu with everything from a tasty amuse bouche to dessert. I would come back here any time

Delicious pork with garlic potatoes and broccolini. Our server Paul was friendly and charming. A great hidden place for Date Night or a chic meal!
