this is the most authentic Japanese facility in queensland. it is humble, humble and full character. fish is fresh, rice is well seasoned. my only grip, they serve fried objects in udon with suppe. they should serve it on a separate plate. the Tempura elements were soggy fast. I love the chirashi dish great worth with generous portions of fish and ikura! ja ikura! from any reason brisbane has not much ikura. when they do, it is usually not fresh, which is really sad. unpredictable, delicious Japanese cuisine. off the bustling streets of surfers paradise, down a sketchy looking gasse, is this invisible Japanese restaurant. amimoto is a family lover and I would choose this place over many of the flashing tariff in the opposite every day.

The place is located on a small lane within a street and it is a super casual place. We got seated outside, would be better to sit inside. Also the place closes quite early for dinner..

super tasty and authentic Japanese cuisine! chirashi is so well presented, one of the best I have seen in Australia! big hole in the wall restaurant, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals
