If you want flavourful authentic Trini food, Aneal’s Taste of the Island should be your go to spot. I highly recommend the curry chicken dhalpuri and jerk chicken with the signature rice coleslaw! •The delicious curry chicken was packed with spices which peered well with the soft and hot dhalpuri roti. •The jerk chicken was tender and seasoned to perfection! We had the pleasure of conversing with Mr. Aneal who is such a kind and humble soul. He added an extra star to our already 5 star experience. I visited this restaurant for the first time recently because I had been craving Jamaican food. I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and goat roti, and I was not disappointed! The jerk chicken with rice was tender and incredibly well-seasoned. The rice was so flavorful and saucy that I could eat it on its own. The goat roti was also delicious, with tender and flavorful goat meat. I will definitely be returning to Aneal's more often since it is conveniently located near my house for all my Caribbean island cravings! ???

The jerk chicken is a standout choice, as well as the chicken roti and the weekend special of Wild Boar with a unique blend of smokey spices. The restaurant truly embodies the spirit of the islands.

Awesome food and great hospitality! Very authentic carribean food (bonus: they serve halal meat for anyone looking for options). My boys and I are definitely going back for more. My personal fav is Mac and cheese with BBQ chicken. Look at the portions they are HUGE!!Farhana Mahbub
