Another Broken Egg Cafe

Hands down one of the best breakfast places in Lafayette! With great service (from both hosts and servers) and great food, the restaurant never disappoints! I’ve been here so many times and yet I always want to come back for more. The wait time can be long, especially on the weekends but I’m not suprised that so many people come in. Signing up for the waitlist on Yelp and holding a spot is a quick and easy fix to that which is also another great thing about this restaurant. Definitely recommend the supreme omelet or the salmon benedict if you want to eat something filling but they also have light options like strawberry pound cake or just simply waffles with eggs and bacon!

Everything was delicious here! The lemon blue beer French toast was the perfect amount of crispy edges and softness inside. It came with light and fluffy scrambled eggs and 2 slices of perfectly cooked bacon. After the waitress had described a variety of grits, I had to order a page of City Grits. The grits you can say were low and slowly cooked as they were so creamy. To complete it, they had cheese, bacon, green onion and tomatoes. To complete the meal I had a Lemon Blueberry mimosa that was absolutely perfection! Our pleasant waitress Lisa was so friendly and went over and over with the descriptions and recommendations.

This is a phenomenal breakfast / brunch restaurant. Unique dishes that are usually a pleasure! I love Bourbon Street pancakes! You also find a rare merchandise here... amazing hospitality! People here are super friendly and consistent! This restaurant also supports our military!!! 100% recommended. The pictures are from Bourbon Street pancakes and the mardi gras omelette. Fantastic!

At the first attempt of this place we sat outside to feed. The food was great not to complain. The cinnamon roll French toast was wonderful. The coffee was hot and delicious. The environment was beautiful and relaxing, we sat outside on the terrace and it was beautiful and cool. We enjoyed a view of the well. We'll be back.

Our Brunch Stamp for Good Breakfast / Brunch Food in Lafayette. The food is usually good (although they can sometimes be uneven). Waiting time will be really long during the peaks at weekends, but if you go during the week, you can go directly in.
