This Chinese Restaurant is on the northern end of king street and badges itself as The Bite of China as well as Asian King - the first being their takeaway/home delivery service.We have dined in and also bought the home delivery on a number of occasions. The dine in is average and the food average, although the pancakes are the feature. However, if you want to be ripped off, use the home delivery through one of the online services....... Your card gets docked but you will be lucky if the meal arrives by midnight. Our last experience, we ordered the meal at 7:20 pm with a delivery time expected of 8:40 pm. We waited two hours for delivery on a Sunday night (the order went in as soon as they opened at 5, so I can't imagine that it was even a particularly busy time for them). The delivery guy didn't even offer an apology when he arrived. The food, when it finally turned up was acceptable. The Garlic Lamb we ordered was very nice, but the dumplings had obviously been waiting for some time and were cold, tough and chewy. Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings tasted nice, but were overpriced for the number that you received.Overall considering the quality and service you can find elsewhere on King Street, I'd go elsewhere.

We were 10.01.2020. The waiter had no English at all. We were wondering if we had BYO wine and he said no. We started to go and the chef came out and told us that they don't serve wine, but we could buy something about the street. The waiter's misunderstanding. After a fast start we decided to stay and really enjoyed the food. Pork Belly in Brown Sauce, green beans with minced meat and special roasted rice. The portions were great and everything was delicious. I'd go back without a doubt.

Bite of China renamed Mulan Temple and would be the best Chinese food in Newtown hands down. Genuine authentic Chinese cuisine with great service. General help and excellent flavors! Take the dumplings and the ****. I am in love!!!
