Bardenay Restaurant Distillery Boise

Went to the Basque quarter for paella but completely sold out due to people in town. So they suggested next door. Boy, glad they did. Really great food. A lot of unusual tastes that were really creative and delicious. However....The desserts were unbelievable. Luckily there were three of us. And we were all in agreement. Carrot Cake among the best I have had. The Vanilla Bean Cheese Cake was the best cheesecake I have ever had. The best was the Strawberry Balsamic ice cream. The taste simply slowly unfolded in your mouth. Complex. Sweet. Creamy. It was extraordinary. I love ice cream and I have to say this may be the best I have ever tasted.

We stopped in for lunch on a beautiful 60 degree day and sat outside. We ordered the black bean and sweet potato chimichangas (2 with fries and garlic smashed potatoes, the black bean and quinoa burger with bleu cheese on sourdough with bacon and bleu cheese cole slaw, and a handful of extra condiments. We also ordered lemon vodka greyhounds. The service (John/Jon? was quick and friendly and the food was delicious. 10/10 would return.

We had an awesome meal while sitting outside on the beautiful patio. Their specials of smoked trout bisque and red chicken salad was top notch! Our locally brewed beers-outstanding Thank you

The food was yummy and our server was quick and very polite! It was my first time and I was impressed with his knowledge of the entire menu! I will return!!

The food was outstanding and the cocktails were excellent! I would recommend this place to anyone traveling through Boise!
