Birch and Perch Coffee Shop

We recently stopped on our way through on our long drive. It was just what we needed! The kids enjoyed yummy iced chocolates, whilst my husband and I enjoyed the great coffee and chai latte. We couldn't resist the cakes - sampled a few options and all were absolutely delicious and home-made. The hostess was friendly and accommodating, yet un-obtrusive. The place is adorned with with interesting pictures and personal items, creating a lovely atmosphere. There is a some gift items available for purchase as well.It's often a struggle to find great coffee in small country towns, but you will not be disappointed here! We will definitely make it our regular stop from now on!!

Every time we travel back to Melbourne, we make a stop at Birch and Perch. This café offers simple yet delightful items. The coffee is excellent, the homemade cakes are heavenly, and if you're fortunate, you might find a pie or pastie available. The Banoffee slice is a must-try! The prices are quite reasonable as well. There's just one incredible lady managing everything, but chatting with fellow patrons while waiting for service adds to the experience. Make sure to visit this place. There's easy parking just past the café, near the park.

We make it a point to visit Gabby at Birch and Perch whenever possible, as it undoubtedly serves the best coffee in Rosedale! They also offer excellent pies and cakes. The interior provides a cozy seating area, and if the weather is nice, you can enjoy sitting outside at the tables on the footpath. The shop also features a small nursery, creating a relaxing atmosphere and giving visitors the chance to buy a variety of seedlings and more mature plants. I highly recommend stopping by!

I frequently stop by this café to enjoy a pie and a slice of cake along with a pot of tea. It's a great place to catch up on what's happening in town, and the café owner is very friendly and helpful.

The best banoffee slice I've ever had! We always make a stop here on our way back home from a holiday in Gippsland just to grab one.
