Blue Sushi Sake Grill

One of my daughters told me that Blue Sushi ???? is her favorite Sushi restaurant in Kansas City. We met some friends at the restaurant for an early Sunday dinner. I love good sushi, but I was not prepared for the next level deliciousness that assaulted my taste buds! If you like spicy food, like I do, definitely order the Shishito Peppers. We devoured two plates of them. The Yellowtail Serrano was also spicy and delicious, however the Sashimi ?? slices were very thin and after two orders of them I was left wanting more. This is absolutely the best sushi and sashimi you can find PERIOD. Quality of food combined with exceptional service and super cool decor makes this my new favorite. Ian is one of the best servers we've ever had and that includes the Michelin star restaurants we've been to. This guy is just so attentive and curious about what others like that is recommendations just hit the mark. Just ask for Ian and what his top five dishes are. Oh the drink menu is off the charts. The owners of this group get it and we'll be nationwide. I have to mention the speed of service and attentiveness again. Literally Michelin star level of service and attentiveness.??????????????????????????????????????????

I had a great dining experience yesterday, and got to try so many different sushi rolls. Everything tasted fresh and the rolls were very flavorful. We tried out the restaurant week menu and we had dozens of options to choose from, the value was also very great for the lunch price. Our server Ricky made us feel very welcome, and helped us in our picks. He was very attentive and gave great service. Will definitely be back to try some of the other sushi rolls, the only thing I noticed was that this place didn?t serve sashimi, as it wasn?t on the regular menu. and that is usually my go-to dish in sushi restaurants.

My husband and I have spent so much money at Blue, you won?t even believe it. We came here for the first time on Valentine?s Day 3 years ago. It continues to be our favorite date night and happy hour Sunday spot. The service is great and the two managers we?ve met in recent visits make us feel like they truly appreciate us coming back in all the time! Blue, we love you. Way to rock a pandemic! See you soon!

From start to finish this was an amazing experience. Especially to try it for the 1st time during restaurant week was a really big treat. The staff was amazing, the manager walked up and checked on us and had a conversation and the food...magnificent!! Thank you Thank you:
