Boxcar was a fantastic choice for lunch during our holiday shopping trip. The atmosphere was fun and enjoyable, with polite and well-behaved patrons cheering on their college and NFL teams while enjoying their favorite drinks. As a fan of the Sooners, I was thrilled to watch Kyler Murray (AZ Cardinals), CeeDee Lamb (Dallas Cowboys), and the infamous Baker Mayfield (TB Buccaneers) all on the screens at the same time. The food was delicious and portion sizes were generous, and the wait staff was friendly, attentive, and patient with our kids. I would give this place ten stars if possible. The employees were incredibly nice when we arrived. I informed the host and waitress that I have celiac disease, and they promptly informed the manager. He came over to introduce himself and the waiter asked about my dietary restrictions. They reassured me that they take food allergies seriously and wanted to ensure my safety. I ordered the adult grilled cheese with gluten-free bread and enjoyed some dedicated gluten-free sweet potato waffle fries. I also had a great experience with the food and service, and best of all, I didn't get sick. I will definitely be returning in the future!
I traveled from Dallas to Santa Fe to ring in the New Year with my family. We wanted to watch the Longhorns and Washington game, which they had on at the restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic, and there were plenty of TVs. Mario ensured we had excellent seats and took care of us. This is definitely a 5-star establishment. I highly recommend giving them a try - you won't be disappointed!
Ashley, our server, was fantastic. All of our orders came out promptly. The food tasted great and the portion sizes were perfect. The Queensadilla Appetizer was enough for one person. The fish and chips were delicious, and my wife loved her stir-fry. Ashley was very attentive and provided excellent service. We are grateful to have had her as our server.
