Bozzelli's Italian Deli-crystal City

Recently visited DC in August in Remembrance of my grandmother and this local eatery was walking distance from my hotel. I saw advertisements in our hotel room and thought, why not. So, on a 5minute stroll we, made it. Its a small spot but very busy. While looking over the menu, atleast 3 or 4 uber eats drivers did order pickups. The inside is fairly small but they have about 5tables with chairs. We got a bottle of wine to take back to the hotel and had a couple of spritzers with our food.. our food was really delish!! I have ordered from here several times and had a great experience. However, today was a different story. Had problems ordering through my phone this time. Had to order online (PC). No comment field on the POS for special instructions. Went to pick up the order and no one asked if I needed help. I asked if my order was on the completed order rack and I was ignored. Waiting a good time past the due time and finally had to get the attention of the staff members to check for my order. My order was ready in the kitchen area on top of the oven. I was given my pizza and there was no thank you or sorry for the wait. I will not be recommending this establishment in the future. I am very dissatisfied...

Great subs! We grabbed a Metro Italian sub on the way to the airport on our last day in Virginia. Dang! Why didn't I try this place sooner?! It was busy but worth the squeeze. I would've preferred just a little more meat on the sub for the price, but still a delicious sandwich. I highly recommend this little place for quick to-go bites or to take back to your hotel room and enjoy in peace. The BBQ chips were great too! I noticed they are made in VA so I will miss them:

The plant based Bizzarro was an exceptional vegan pizza. The crust had a great char, it was loaded with flavor, and it had ample vegan cheese. The 10 made a very robust pushing too large serving for one but it was so good I ate the whole thing. They do not have indoor seating which I missed but even ordering and waiting my food was ready in record time. Thank you to the woman at the counter for the spot on recommendation!!

Stopped in for lunch while inArlington on business, I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza to go(there was no seating inside and it was too windy to sit outside for lunch). It was easy to order and my food was made fast and it was hot. This was some of the best BBQ chicken pizza I have had in a while, it was really good. They also have a variety of beer, sparkling drinks, and wine to order as well.
