Brandegg - Reservar uma mesa

Got the train back here on Saturday 14th of January, World Cup race day, as everywhere on Kleine Scheidegg was full due to bad weather.Good move as restaurant was empty so morning coffee went into lunch for 5. Good menu with usual mountain food. There is a self service part to the restaurant if you prefer.In winter it can get very crowded if the ski runs are open.Toilets clean. This restaurant is only a short train journey from Grindelwald.

This restaurant is half way down a gorgeous blue run which cuts through the forest. Like everyone else says, you have to stop and try the apple fritters and vanilla cream (custard) Hearty rosti with cheese and bacon before you catch the train back up to Kleine Scheidegg or carry on down further.

We like eating here, the food is always good and the apple fritters delicious, whichever way you chose to have them ( 1 portion of 5 fritters was 7.90 CHF).

Super netter Service, waren 2x auf dem Rückweg vom Eiger dort. Apfelchüechli sehr zu empfehlen. Preis/Leistung gut. Schöne Aussicht.
