The bread bar in Benton Harbor, Michigan, is a restaurant owned by the same people who own bits of the Swiss bakery, which is a world-famous bakery. If you have lived in Southwest Michigan for a while, you can see the location as a former Albert's insurance building, but with a completely new look. Large windows and an outdoor terrace offer a fantastic view of sunset and boats that travel to St. Joseph River. I also like they have a huge parking lot. As usual, we have shared a lot. The service was very good. The decor is cool and casual. Our Drinks were refilled as needed. Our party was pretty hungry and very happy to see fresh and delicious bread and butter on the table immediately. Our food came to the table directly from the pass and was at the highest temperature possible. I ordered a hanger steak and not only was the steak cooked perfectly, the flavors and texture of the meat were spot on. To finish the meal I had a piece of pink lemonade cake and a shot of espresso which I enjoyed very much as well. My friend's father picked up the tab so I can't speak to the final bill, but nothing stood out on the menu as pricy to my recollection. My only problem with this rest...

Our first visit last night. Our Tartines were the perfect warming, especially the Arugula and Cannellini bean. My wife's Blood Orange Martini was very well balanced, pretty tasty. My Berkshire Pork Chop? I've always told Yam every bite. And my wife was very happy, she chose the pomegranate-glazed Alaskan Salmon. Our Everardo server was wonderful, and to complete it, he brought us a divine dessert in the house to celebrate our opportunity. We also had a sunset over the water from the terrace. This place is amazing. The service is excellent and the food was phenomenal. The pork chop was the best pork chop I ever had. The French onion is also delicious. All we had was cooked for perfection. Beautiful and modern atmosphere. Here's a must! Very recommended
