Byron Freehouse - Reservar uma mesa

The Byron Freehouse is located in a great location, their restaurant has a great feel, and their patio has shade and sun for whatever your preference is. The staff was courteous and professional if a bit slow to deliver on requests.The restaurant has a diverse menu which should appeal to a variety of people, but on repeated visits I've found that they serve only so-so food at prices equivalent to more premium rivals. They also make odd choices in serving and plating, such as a beer served with ice in the glass.It won't be the worst dining experience you ever had, but unless you're anxious for the patio, it's not a place I can confidently recommend.

Went as a group of 10 for lunch. We had a reservation. Ordered our meals about half an hour after getting there. 4 tables around us ordered lunch, received their meals and left before we received ours. We asked our waiter why it was taking so long. The owner came to our table. I told her what had happened and that I would not be recommending the restaurant to my friends. She came back to the table after we had eaten and apologized for the delay. She stated that all meals would be free except for mine. I was the only person at my table presented with a bill.

Took my father out for supper, both of us had great fish and chips. Thurs night was live music, nice touch and not so loud as to make conversation difficult. Menu has changed a lot since my last visit in a good way, look forward to sitting outside on the patio this summer. Service was great!

I think they have gotten the kinks out. Fresh patio and great vibe. We had the wings and deep fried pickles. Pickles made in house. Nice batter. Beer specials and good choice on tap. Service very good. Thanks Rueben.

After a long walk on the spring bank trails, we stopped for cold drinks and a light lunch on the patio. Service was a little scattered, but the food was great!
