I moved to the Libertyville area in 2006 and discovered the Cafe, which quickly became my favorite spot. The service was exceptional, and I was always treated like family. I became a regular for their delicious rack of lamb and duck on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The wine selection was also top-notch. Denny, the bartender, became a close friend and great conversationalist. Even though I have moved away, I make sure to visit whenever I am in the area - it's definitely worth the trip. Mari, one of the owners, is also amazing. Make sure to mention that Ray and Irene recommended the place to you.

My favorite was the lamb frame and the duck. I was never satisfied. Also the wine selection was great. Denny, the bartender became a big friend and someone I could always talk to. I moved away, but I'm trying to get back when I'm in the area. It's definitely worth the trip. Mari, one of the owners is also wonderful. Tell them Ray and Irene sent you.

This restaurant is perfect for hosting older relatives when they're in town. The food was delicious and the server was friendly. The ambiance could use a little improvement, but overall, it was a good experience.
