Carmen Y Juan Home Style Mexican Food

I am half Mexican and semi-German, my mother made me very pampered with the recipe of our family adult. I'm also from Arizona, so coming to South Carolina, I didn't expect much for Mexican food. After I tried a few places in the city and in the country, I thought I had run out of places that could actually cook their Mexican cuisine fresh. This place was amazing, reminds me of home and holds true to Mexican food, not this tex-mex or chimichanga American food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Delicious, flavorful Mexican food outside of Charleston in Mt. Pleasant, SC- easy hike from Isle of Palms.. Not fancy yet clean restauant tucked away in a strip mall. Wonderful homemade tortillas and sauces. Fish taco (Mahi) and Carnitas taco were excellent- loads of flavor. Guac was fresh and real.

This is a great Mt Pleasant Mexican place. We went in when they first opened and we are not impressed. But we're glad we went back to new owners. Everything from chips and salsa to the Entree Specials was fantastic.

Authentic, delicious, fresh Mexican cuisine! Some of the best I had. Wonderful service with personal attention of the owner. We'll definitely come back when we get back in the area.

Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! Absolutely back! The staff is great and the food is very good. The tortilla chips are perfect!
