Chalet Le Castel Restaurant

Part of a restaurant group that counts the best 2 adresses in Chamonix, this is probably the only place that ever served me some completely uncooked chicken, mess up their fondue 99% of the time, service is appalling and slow. We last went 1yr ago after multiple attempts butI hate to give bad reviews. The reason for today's is that some friends staying with us tried it again and got exactly the same comments and small portions for the sake of the management this is long overdue. Outstanding presentation, creativity and quality. This is simply the best restaurant in and around Chamonix. TIP: If the weather is good sit on the terrace and enjoy the spectacular views of Mont Blanc. TIP: Don't worry about the bill it's only money and you cannot take it with you what price do you put on happiness :o)

Went for a quick drink, greeted by a very grumpy front of house, then waited ages only to experience surly and unfriendly attitude. Drank up quickly to go to one of the many much more inviting and friendly apres ski bars in Chamonix!

Great service Delicious food (truffles to die for) Lovely setting Wish we had gone here the first night in Chamonix and not the last as we would have gone back another night or two.

Excellent service gorgeous sandwich with fries and lemonade.... no trouble getting a table super quick and family friendly
