Chez Max - Reservar uma mesa

Not sure I understand the negative reviews about this place. We were here for lunch- we walked in off the street, no reservations and were seated right away. The patio area is sunny and has a great casual vibe. Friendly service (even though our French is terrible! , food came out quickly and was actually great pizza. It isn't fine dining, but what do you expect? The Pizza was totally fine, fresh and hot- no complaints whatsoever and would go back again- only gripe was it is cash only, lucky we had enough on us.

Reading the reviews is strange ... I have eaten here regularly over the past 10 years, and do not recognise the reviews from 2014-2016. The ones written since are far more on the money. It is a good, local restaurant. Enjoyable pizza, friendly service, great location (on the sunny side of the street). Recommended.

Frites annoncées faites maison mais j en doute ou alors il faut changer l huile de la friteuse. Hamburger avec un pain sec et une viande très moyenne.Le panache était tiède !Menu enfant correct Préférez la terrasse voisine

Pizza Giulia: tout ce que j'aime !! Ravi d'avoir passé un bon moment dans ce restaurant. J'ai très apprécié pouvoir emporter ma pizza non terminée dans une boîte ! STOP aux gâchis !

As Malaucenais we are blessed with so many good places to go to in town. But our favorite will remain Chez Max, since it feels like comming home all he time.
