Chief's Family Diner

This is some of the best vegan food I had. I surprise the food for everyone who will listen. The chicks 'n is crisp, hot and tasty, the hot chicks 'n is spicy, hot, crisp and tasty. The waffles are deliciously fluffy on the inside, and the touch of cinnamon takes them to another level. I love that Southern V uses bio maple syrup. I'm not from here, and these were the first cookies I've ever tried, I love them. They are light, 'buttery' and delicious with chicks 'n or mushroom Gravy. The potato casserole is rich, 'creamy', hearty and so satisfying, we usually land with 2 portions each we love it so! If I could eat this every weekend I would!! That 's how amazing the food was. Unfortunately the drive is just too far for an every weekend trip. I 've tried vegan restaurants but being from the south, I 've started to crave fried foods.. and this was a game changer. The Hot Chick 'n was perfect and the mac n cheese was out of this world!! When transitioning into a vegan lifestyle, you try to find normal foods you 're accustomed to and that 's exactly what they serve you. Actually, they serve better than that! I recommend anyone, vegan or not, to give this place a try. The food is PHENOMENAL and the atmosphere has such a cute feel with the outdoor seating. #1 vegan restaurant on my list! Hope...

I first dined yesterday in Southern V and ordered the roasted chicken plate with green beans and pickled sweet potatoes. My friend ordered the chicken fried chicken with Turnip Greens and Mac cheese. We were able to taste the food and had no problems cleaning our plates. Next time I'm here, I'll order a Veggie record. The vegetables were just so great, but this is not to divide the chicken at all. It was delicious, and I have to say that I felt good all afternoon. Thanks for a good vegan experience!

I cracked my 10 years non-vegan non-veggie with me. We both loved it! I thought we had lunch, but they served breakfast. My daughter ordered the potato casserole I had, as well as a hot chicken biscuit. I was pleasantly delighted with the taste! My daughter tasted my hot chicken biscuit, was shocked that she liked it so much so that she wanted one herself. Definitely a place! Service was also exceptional.

I cannot recommend this place enough if you are vegan. (or if you don't... The cookies are some of the best I ever had, time. Your food is absolutely worth standing in the cold.
