Hidden gem of a bar in Hull centre Excellent selection of interesting real ales, and good alternatives for those who aren't into real ales, nice atmosphere and a warm welcome. However, the real stars of the show are the three or four freshly made chillies or curries on the menu each day. Sublime flavours using high quality locally sourced ingredients. Over the weekend I came back several times so i could sample a few Classic beef chilli, Bourbon chicken chilli, veggi dahl, Thai green veggie curry All absolutely superb. Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic experience at this small bar with amazing staff. I celebrated my 30th birthday with 14 friends and 2 children. They were able to accommodate our group and even provided some food for us. Their clever system of offering cheaper 2-for-1 deals allowed us to try all of the different chili options on the menu. The beer selection was also unique and not what you find at typical bars. Everyone had a great time and I will definitely be returning as a regular customer. Cheers to Chili Teufel!

I have been wanting to visit this place for a long time. They offer a vegan chili every day, along with their regular chili, curries, burgers, and more. I believe this restaurant is a hidden gem and I truly hope they succeed. I tried the vegan chili and it was deliciously spicy. My colleagues ordered the Malaysian chicken and said it was amazing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning. Good luck to the young team behind this restaurant.

what a beautiful little place we accidentally crashed on the way back to the car. hubby had a cheeky half and I had a weeping splash. has already eaten, but will pass for a pint n a chili or possibly a beautiful fresh coffee wen. a lot of luck in their new venture!

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is great, the beer is excellent, and the staff is friendly. I only wish we had discovered this place sooner.
