China Cottage In Ketter

My husband and I have enjoyed going here for the past 9 years. Unfortunately, we have now had unpleasant service the last 2 times. The seating area is divided into 3 sections. 1 has a view of fishtanks and, when the tanks are clean, we enjoy sitting near them if a table is available. We went for lunch early on a Saturday. The hostess tried to seat us in one of the areas without the tanks, and showed her annoyance when we requested 1 of the open tables near the tanks and we had to insist to sit there. We typically love going to China Cottage. We've been to their other locations when we are in town and have enjoyed. This location was unorganized. We ordered dinner combination and never got soup or egg rolls. When our food came out first, we asked to just remove from bill. It took two different times for them to take it off the bill. The waiter was disorganized and kept bouncing back and forth between tables without completing requests. Hopefully just an off night with low staff and it will be better next time because we enjoy the food!

China Cottage has the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. I loved the Springboro location. The one on Far Hills is nice, but I liked the other one better. My son and his wife surprised me last year on Christmas Eve. I called all over looking for a reservation and finally called China Cottage who told us to come on in. My son confessed to me later that he doesn’t usually like Chinese food, but he loved China Cottage.

I went to the Wilmington Ave restaurant got the Triple ingredient (shrimp, scallops chicken w/veggies rice), dinner. It was flavorless-(even with the soy sauce) probably one of the worst Chinese dinners I've ever had. Thank goodness I got the Crab Rangoon which was great!

Best Chinese in town. Everything on the menu is wonderful and the staff are just the best. Love love love. Being going here for 20 years and it is never disappointing.
