Chopsticks Inn - Reservar uma mesa

We wanted away from the beachfront crowds so we stopped and grabbed some quick takeout from this place not long before they closed. Staff was super friendly and even brought our order out to our car. While we were deciding what to order a couple eating at a table told us they'd been coming to Chopsticks for 30 years and have never had a bad meal! We ordered the Chicken Chow Mein (which was actually Lo Mein- but some of the best I've ever tasted and I am a Lo Mein FAN! and the Sweet and Sour Pork. The pork was perfectly cooked and crispy with fresh, crispy vegetables and traditional sweet and sour sauce. Definitely check this place out if you're in La Mesa!

Had a slight disappointment when today when I found out that their Japanese chef was not available and that the Japanese food on the menu was temporarily not available, but that just goes to show how much they believe in authentic and good food that don't push chefs that haven't mastered certain recipes to cook. I had the curry with chicken and it was still delicious, even though it wasn't what I came to get. The interior of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming and sets the atmosphere. And the service is great and friendly, not only knowing menu items but also showing a passion towards all of them.

Great little place with a charming Chinese decor. Very friendly staff and willing to explain anything on their very extensive menu. The items we ordered were all very fresh and so delicious. We ordered the wonton soup and hot and sour soup. Both perfect in texture and flavor. We also ordered a plate of pork dumplings and a plate of vegetable dumplings. Both tasted so fresh, although I personally prefer the pork, which had plenty of flavor. Prices were moderate, but reasonable. This was our 1st visit and a pleasant experience.

This place has THE BEST VEGAN 'meat ' dishes in San Diego. It 's tough to find a good Chinese food restaurant that uses a mock beef/chicken but this place has got it!! We love the orange mock chicken the spicy crispy mock beef. Their noodles are always fresh and delicious everyone is friendly. During this time, it 's important to support local small businesses, and this is one of our faves to support.

I get the chicken chow my with egg drop soup and it is absolutely delicious! It's a lot when you go for lunch, it's pretty cheap.
