Clancy's Fish Pub - Reservar uma mesa

We visited Clancy’s two nights on our 4 night stay in Freo owing to its location and chilled atmosphere. Lots of good beers and the food is great too. I’d really recommend the mussels, especially for their 2 for 1 deal on Mussels Monday! Service is friendly and helpful, although it can be a little slow keeping track of which table ordered which meals. One night we had to wait a considerable time for one of our dishes and had to go ask staff where it had disappeared to before it hastily appeared. That aside, we enjoyed both our nights.

Great place. Nice people. Freo legend for fish, beers and music. Fish is their thing, and frankly, notexactly cheap, but best pubby FishChipsalad gubbins money can buy. I stretch for the Red Empoer, and believe me, itwas one of the best peices of fish I've ever eaten. And I'm from Auckland, where fish is THE thing. Interestingly, I went ther 4 times in 2 weeks ,and each met very interesting people who simply saw me having a beer on my own and called me over. Super friendly place.

We had the crumbed fish and chips (takeaway). It was absolutely awful. The chips were cold, the fish did not taste fresh. there was no tartare or ketchup. The coleslaw was very small and not fresh. Overall a very disappointing experience. We had talked about going to the pub at one point as we are going to be here for a while. That is definitely out. After our takeaway experience we will avoid this establishment.

Just excellent . Interesting crowd always meandering in. Ive turned up solo and just been takubg in the scene, waitress has intro'd me to people for a chat. Very ciil.

Better to eat in rather than the take away which was not the best quality considering from a fish pub! It was cold and not very tasty.
