Cooks Kitchn/captain Cooks Seafood Boil

My sister, my son and I decided to patronize this black owned establishment and I can tell you I was very disappointed from the moment we walked in the door. The floor was so dirty our shoes were sticking to the floor. We had to wait to be seated, even though there was no one there. My sister ordered the Monster lobster roll but the waitress told her she would have to check if there was any lobster meat because they were out!!! Then she came back and said there was just enough to make the roll. We also ordered lobster Mac n cheese but since there was no lobster we decided to leave. I visited Cooks for lunch today with my sons. I?ve been going there for some time and I?ve never been disappointed with the things I?ve tried on the menu. The kids also love the food. I ordered crab stuffed salmon, Mac and cheese and the kids had the bacon burger, which was big enough for them to split and fries. We also ordered the wings and salmon sliders, which is a new item. The salmon in the sliders was so thick and juicy!. Everything was on point and the prices are in line with the quality and portion sizes. The service was also good. Very disappointed. The macaroni had no cheese the rice was hard and I got some cheap gooey breaded chicken wings instead of real wings. My rice was hard as a rock I sent a Direct message to the owner on Instagram because the pictures he?s posting is not the pictures of the actual food he?s giving out. it seems like this place can be hit or miss I ordered it last year and it was good but this time was horrible I guess it all depends who?s in the kitchen and possibly what time of day it is since they ran out of cheese.

The best in the Tri state area.I love the diverse menu, everything was fresh and the service was excellent! The portions are VERY generous!!The atmosphere is cozy comfortable yet the food was that of a 5 star restaurant in taste presentation! I will be visiting again very soon, I highly recommend giving them a try!!

The food here is delicious! I?ve tried so many other seafood places and honestly none compare. The seasoning is to perfection in everything I?ve tasted this far. Ashley was wonderful! I promise you will not be disappointed..
