Courthouse Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

Fix your ordering strategy. It’s not rocket science. The que in the door way and the wait is ridiculous. The amount of staff doing the till, getting quick pre made t/a sandwiches, coffee etc and the chaos of staff is unnecessary. The ladies were lovely serving but you can see the disorganisation and stress written all over their faces. I won’t be back till it’s fixed. The food is great and worth me coming back but not to have to deal with the chaos every lunch time.

Nicely fitted out space in Geelong’s old Magistrates’ Court. The coffee was a good brew. Well made and well presented. The snacks we had were a bit bland though. A savoury muffin that looked good but had little flavour and a slice that lacked punch as well. Service was a bit cool and distant too. Overall an average experience.

Arrived early before open of nearby bike shop needed a pick-me-up. Warm summer night required caffeine but iced. Young lass made a strong one (great) and sat down in their pleasant space. Glad to see provisioning of daily newspapers … old fashioned yet most welcome. Will pop in again sometime for tempting food menu.

I was looking forward to lunch at the courthouse but it was disappointing. Inedible croutons, they are supposed to be eatable, chicken dry and cooked so hard on one side I was unable to cut through it. I won't order the Caesar Salad again but it's unlikely we'll go there again. We used to enjoy it.

On a corner with inside and outside seating and a narrow entrance. Mild (pleasantly so) interior decor. No obtrusive music. Excellent cafe food, good loos but parking not easy (fairly busy public car park diagonally opposite). Happy to revisit.
