Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The 2 stars are for the server only. She was kind and our issue was out of her control. We went in for dinner around 7pm. We tried to order 4 different things and kept being told sorry were out of that. 4 different things. I am sorry but how do you expect people to eat there if you are out of everything they can eat? 44 minute wait for a party of 3 on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Back 1/3 section of the restaurant was closed due to lack of staffing. Middle section seating only 3/4 full. Finally got seated and asked to sit closer to the fire place with several open tables but we were denied on that request. Companies need to figure out how to attract and retain employees with some of their profits. Highly disappointed with the food and service industry post pandemic.

First of all our server Betsy was awesome. Excellent service. Whoever was plating the food not so much. You can hide the completely black charcoaled bacon under the other food, but the customer is going to find it. Not sure what they were thinking. Everything else was ok. Gravy for the biscuits needs some salt or even better some real sausage drippings.

Cracker Barrel was busy as always. Great food and great service! I always love browsing around the store while waiting to be seated. Such pretty and unusual items. Great experience!
