El Dorado - Reservar uma mesa

I dined here for the first time this week. The welcome was pleasant and we were given a table at the back of the restaurant. The decoration is white painted brick whic gives the feeling if being in a cellar, but it is light and spacious. Service was warm and efficient. Food was surprisingly excellent. Sarters are massive, be warned. Egg Mushroom omlette wirh two huge boiled potatoes and mozzarella with tomatoes. Main course was 220gm fillet steak with baked potato and a cream cheese sauce. Steak was most excellent, very thick and exceptionally tender. I willl definitly visit again next week.

The service was very good, waiter very friendly and we had a drink on the house to start with, and also before leaving. The martini and wine inbetween was also very good. My starter, stuffed mushrooms was plentiful and extremely tasty. The meat main course was so much we couldn 't finish it all. The restaurant was nicely decorated and everthing was very clean. We would go back again, and not just because of the free drinks .

fantastic value for money,i'm a big eater but couldn't finish main course.Free salad bar to start then so much meat.stayed in Xanten for 2 nights and each night ate here.Friendly staff,good service, free house drink to start and finish and even let you take the small serving bottle home .

The salad was tasteless and watery, I don't think it was fresh and the main course, I had a Schnitzel, had a funny after-taste. Unfortunarey, my friends all shared the same view.
