I finally found the best Mexican restaurant in Clayton and most likely within the surrounding area. You definitely get a warm and welcoming feeling upon walking in the door. This family-owned restaurant doesn't miss a beat in getting you seated, situated and ready for a drink. As most Mexican restaurants, the menu has a lot to offer and so does the full bar. They make a very good Margarita and plenty of chips and salsa to go with it. I was glad I tried the cheese dip with the chips, it was a pleasant switch from the customary salsa. This place is really good!! As a guest of the city I was taken here by friends and family and honestly from the outside of the place it does not say much but what a gorgeous spot it is in the inside! The decor is very folkloric and they even have a bar from where I got me a delicious Sangrarita.... Slurps! I also added to my serving the Molcajete platter which is new on the menu but it is filled with awesomeness, shrimp, chicken, beef and a sauce that's easy on the buds. Went on a Friday night. Needed something close by while out shopping. Friendly staff. We were seated quickly. The food was good! We ordered fajitas (chicken, shrimp, steak). Came out nice and hot. The margaritas were good. Plenty of options to choose from. Wouldn't mind eating there again. They got the job done

Just left after another great meal! The staff is friendly and fast. Drinks are awesome and food is delicious. Have been coming every week for the past 5 months. If you love authentic Mex this is your place.
