Upon entering this restaurant if you are a person of over 50 you will notice an amazing similarity to an old British railway station waiting room. The mixture of green paint looks like something out of the late 50’s. The furniture I suspect also comes from around this era. The service is fast and friendly and on looking at the menu we were relatively surpassed at the prices as it was not expensive at all. There is a very good choice although most of it was what is known as Hausmannskost here. Basically it is good plane fare or home cooking. What happened to this place? We ate here last year. a great building (which has not changed), employees wear traditional local costume, efficient service, good food and a beautiful atmosphere. at our visit recently, apart from the building and the menu, this would have been a completely different restaurant. the service was not friendly, and 2 of the meals were unusable: we would not go back sadly...

Visited here yesterday evening and again today, traditional local restaurant / bar. Great location on the main road, traditional decor and menu,big local bikers Very efficient service, although a little dour in setting, pricing very good, average fair in offer, but well prepared and generous portions, all in all a good experience. Great place for especially fish soup this is one of the world's best soups to go! The fish to buy can be found well presented on a bed of ice cream. The owner is a specialist, ask him questions abobut fish and you get an answer. a place to recomend!

On Saturday for lunch. Service was very good and food was very nice, highly recommended as traditional German cuisine. Happy to go back in the future.
