Five Horses Tavern

We’ve been to Five Horses Tavern in the past and it’s always enjoyable. The food on the menu is delicious and isn’t your typical tavern fare. They offer a range of seafood, veggie and meat options which is great when your party has different tastes. The only reason 1 star was taken away was for prices since I don’t remember a 6 oz glass of wine to be $13 and small appetizer plate to be $14. I usually see these prices at more upscale restaurants. I think having lower cost appetizers and drink options would make more customers happy.

The brie app needs more break to come with it and perhaps the brie could be baked longer. It was just kind of warmed up. The skillet cookie was undercooked. Gooey is great, but it was pretty raw. That said, everything was still tasty!

Devin was a great server. The food was fine. Excellent chicken and waffles. Veggie hash not so much. Terrific Bourbon ****. Will definitely be back.

Great food and great service. They were able to easily accommodate our group of 9.
