You want the best ice cream you can get in the bernese Oberland and this place has it. The ice here is handcrafted, which means homemade. The Gelateria is located directly at the boat station of Spiez, very practical! There is also coffee available on the jump, beer, wine and sandwiches. But instead of running away, I recommend you enjoy your ice cream right outside while sitting in the lounge chairs. If you want to fill your sweet tooth or just want to relax before boarding... do it here. The Gelateria is closed in winter, closes earlier (18:00) when it is bad weather... and is open until 21:00 when it is warm weather. Definitely worth a visit if you stay in Spiez or pass.
Right by the lake Thun sit next to Lake Thun ferry port in Spiez, the location of the Gelateria is very picturesque and makes a great place to stay over a Gelati or visit Spiez Castle (a short walk away). The Gelati is fine and there is not much of a selection; the resonance to stop there is in the picturesque Lake Thun and catch the ferry which is the est way to get there, since parking is limited and some distance, while the walk to the station is steep and quite a walk.
Ready for the summer? This place seems! This march was reinterpreted, seems to be open today. Even the best gelateria in the city (ice cream made in the Alps! and friendly self-service. Nice price and you can sit directly at the boat station, very comfortable. Snacks and café available.
