Grill Courtepaille

We had a great time here. While my French is passable, my two American colleagues had been without my assistance for a week and had not yet found a restaurant with a menu in English - Lisses, it seems, is not exactly a hotbed of tourism.This was a nice casual dining experience with very friendly staff that practiced their English on us as we practiced our French. The menu was available in French, English, Spanish, German and Italian, and possibly other languages as well.The food was very tasty, prepared on an open grill in the center of the restaurant, so it also smelled excellent from the moment we entered. Perhaps there was a little something lost in translation, but I believe the 2 sides...

The burger was certainly more than well done on the outside (i.e. burnt black). Sadly, the meat of it was red, raw and tasteless. Unacceptable for a place that pretends to specialize in grilled meat dishes.

This is a decent restaurant located to the airport. Its very much like a Apple Bees Restaurant to us. Not fancy, decent food and staff. Its not French Cuisine and that was perfectly fine with me.

Overstretched staff, tables not cleared, very slow service. Went somewhere else. Been here before when quieter and food was okay but not worth waiting for.

Conveniently located, it is definitely the place to go if you are staying at Mercure Hotel or others. The prices are moderate and the food is ok.
