Hempstead Steak Seafood

My extended family went to this restaurant tonight and had a fantastic experience. This is the second time we have had a family celebration there. Tasha was our waitress both times and that girl is great at what she does. The food is always on point and the prices are VERY reasonable. My young sons love the food so much we have to order them adult meals. Hempstead may not be a place that jumps to the top of your list when thinking about seafood but it should. The food is fresh, not greasy, and the service is impeccable. We live in Cypress and my husband wanted to go there over all of the options in the Katy/Cypress area. Always enjoy the fish and I got the dirty rice this time. Could put a little more flavor in the dirty rice but it was just the right amount of food with the salad that comes with it. Also. Waitress is very quick and checked on just the right amount of time. Not overly checking. Restaurants. Nice and clean. It's just kind of dark but I guess that's how they do their ambiance.

Wow! My family and I were impressed with the calamari, egg roll appetizers, and the fried catfish and shrimp plates. There was so much food. It was delicious! Kiddos to the cook. Our server, Grace, was amazing. So friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back for more great food and service.

Found this little gem and I would definitely recommend going I chose to have the grilled chicken, grilled veggies, grilled shrimp, crab cake,and coleslaw. The seafood was exquisite and the chicken, veggies, and coleslaw were amazing. Calm and mellow atmosphere. Would definitely go again.

I had a nice experience here. The food (catfish/shrimp), was better than expected. Quite good actually. The service was top grade, and I found the dinning room to be a pleasant place to be. I'll look to eat here again, and I recommend this restaurant.
