Warm and delicious. The large electric fire in the middle of the restaurant and all the lighting and decor is delightful and warm. The bison egg rolls were delicious. We are not fried food people but it was tasty. It is simply a meat egg roll. They do not freeze their meat so it was really good. Loved the large portion of salmon salad. My husband and I shared it. Salmon is crisped perfectly. The stew was almost entirely meat which is exactly what we wanted. The mixed veggies side was crisp and fresh, not canned, not soggy at all. The rice pilaf was a pass. We went to this restaurant because it was easy walking distance from our hotel. We were thoroughly impressed! It is a cozy, warm place with a fire in the middle of the room and (to my delight) NO television sets anywhere. So, don't go here if you want to watch a game, but definitely do go here if you want an evening for tasty, unique food and conversation. Food has an Indigenous influence we each had a piece of bannock to start. My wife had the bison meat loaf with Saskatoon berry sauce, and I had elk lasagna. They also have a fairly extensive dessert menu and we shared one of the offerings. Thoroughly recommend this place!

Absolutely unbelievable! The food is phenomenal; the ambiance is perfect; and the service is incredible! I haven’t enjoyed a meal that much in a long time. I was under the believe that Covid killed good customer service, but Danny absolutely blew me away and restored my faith in the service industry!

We had the pleasure of dining at the Homefire Grill while on holidays in Edmonton from Prince George, BC. Everything from the atmosphere, Archie our server and the food, from the Bannock, everyone’s meal through to the desserts were Simply Excellent… Very well done… We would certainly recommend it.

Top notch! Called in for same day reservation for 7 (4adults, 3kids). Danny was so accommodating and friendly! Excellent service and recommendations. Fire grilled pizza, excellent bannock with maple butter, and steak cooked perfectly.
