We just had lunch this day, passing Brioude. Quiet terrace. It is truly regrettable that the kitchen has an aspect/cost of products live from the large industrial distribution. In the entrance, charcuterie that does not resemble artisanal charcuterie, it is very bad, the Haute-Loire is full of quality salaisons ! Flat, paupiettes and fries without any gustative interest. Cheese plate correct. Pear pie that seems to come also more from the sub-empty than from morning making. In short, if you're not looking for a gourmet break made from handicrafts, don't hesitate to treat yourself. Otherwise, pass your way.
