I had to laugh reading the reviews of Hudson Shawarma that said servings were small; they must 've taken that to heart because, whoowee, when I ordered the chicken shawarma platter (comes with rice and a small salad), it was a really generous serving! The spices are delicious without being overpowering. The rice is fresh and slightly flavored. Appreciate the small salad, although that is tiny it 's kind of like they 're saying, Listen, if you 're going to pound all this chicken and rice, at least PRETEND to have a vegetable with it... Stoped by for a quick bite. Great service and great ambience. Ordered the chicken Shawarma with fries and Pepsi came out to $18. Food was tasteless and made me feel sick. No spicy sauce except Tabasco. overpriced for the portions. Owner said halal meat is from restaurant depot.

I never usually review places, but loved the large portion I got from this place for the Chicken Shwarma Salad. After a long day of hiking, this was the perfect amount of food to go with some Hudson Valley beers down the street.
