Love this pub. Lucky to have it but not eaten in the restaurant here for years. The sign said best Sunday roast in Perth. Well that did it for us. So we rocked up for the delicious feast. We both ordered the trio of meats...roast. I don't mind undercooked carrots. Raws ok. Slightly cooked ok. But wifey not impressed. Yorkshire puds require cooking in high temp beef fat preferably. Well that's how we do it at home. And wifeys Irish. These ones were kinda dry and doughy centres. Not light. Ok moving on. I liked the chicken. The lamb was chewy and beef much the same. I visited this restaurant on a Friday evening and the service was really good. They had special packages for children, which was a bonus. The beverage menu was extensive, but it's no surprise since it's an Irish pub - Guinness is the drink of choice, not fake imitations. I tried the beef Guinness pie and it was excellent. We also had sausage and mash on the table. The children enjoyed the fish and chips, which were also great. An interesting tidbit, they make their own ice cream in-house (except for the children's vanilla ice cream). The prices were reasonable and we left full and happy. I highly recommend this place!

I came to this restaurant for dinner on a Friday and the service was really good. They offer draft options for kids, which is a bonus. They have a wide selection of drinks, but being an Irish pub, Guinness is the real drink of choice. I tried the beef Guinness pie and it was excellent. We also had sausage and mash on the table. The kids enjoyed the fish and chips, which were also great. It was interesting to learn that they make their own ice cream in-house (except for the children's vanilla ice cream). The prices are quite reasonable. Overall, we left full and happy. Highly recommended!

Caught-up with friends here for a few drinks and dinner. The pub has a good atmosphere and staff generally are very helpful. As it was a Thursday night we had the special which was a parmi, chips and salad plus a drink for Very...good value but just accept it is pub food albeit okay. The chips need improvement as they were soft and luke warm. A duo provided very good music although their noise as is always the case with live performers is a conversation killer. A satisfactory experience but won't rush back.

The best Guinness and Kilkenny in Perth can be found at this restaurant. The atmosphere is enticing and intimate, making it a great place to enjoy an Irish drink. It is conveniently located near public transportation.
