Jose Tejas - Reservar uma mesa

My family has been coming to Jose Tejas for 22 years. We have celebrated many a birthdays, anniversaries, and other milestones here. We came as a party of 7 at 5pm on 2/5/22 and were quoted a 30 minute wait time. After 50 minutes had passed, we asked for an update on our wait time and were told it would be an additional 60 minutes. I asked to speak to the manager. I spoke with “Joe” who assured us that nobody has been quoted a 30 minute wait time the entire day (which is a complete lie) and after the next table is sat, we would be next on deck. This restaurant has been a family staple for decades. The food is amazing EVERY time. The prices are absolutely affordable and service is attentive and courteous. Be prepared for a wait regardless of the day of the week or time. it's usually very busy on weekends and there is no call ahead function. However, now they do have a text function so you could probably hang out in the Willowbrook Mall across the street waiting for a table.

20 years ago he came here. looks like your menu is shrunk. the gum was delicious. the camptown shrimp had a good amount worted. the jambalaya was probably the worst thing I had. it was super salty and dry. it felt as if it was at the bottom of the container where it sat and let the whole sauce suck in and dry out. overall the experience was good.

A must stop every time I come home to visit my family. We've been going here since they opened and they have always been amazing. I moved out of NJ 11 years ago and this has become our family spot when I come back to visit! The gumbo is so good and passes the my husband is from New Orleans check!

Who woulda thunk it, I had the absolute BEST Fajitas, in JoyZee of all places! The food, service and price were all 5 STAR! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
