Happened to be on the area on a shopping run and decided to stop in for dinner. We opted for sushi seating versus hibachi, so we were seated in a booth near the bar area. We had a good view of the the colorfully lit bar and television screens so we were able to watch Thursday night football. We could hear lots of laughter and revelry coming from the rear where the hibachi tables are located. We scanned the QR code on the table to pull up the menu. Ordered a Baltimore roll, along with teriyaki chicken and teriyaki steak entrees. Roll was small, but tasty although the old bay seemed to be missing. The food is fine. The service is 50/50. I sat at the bar first. It was fast and my sushi was a hood. My question was when a young lady got the wrong food next to me. She touched it and realized it wasn't what she ordered. There happened a young lady a few seats downstairs they didn't know, and they just tried not to give her the dish fresh food. We all sang how inconvenient that was, and they allegedly took it back and gave it a fresh record. The services were great at the Hibachi table. The cook was great.
If you enjoy Kobe's, you will like Kabuto. The same general thing. The differences we noticed - combos had more options at kabuto. For example, I usually have to get salmon by myself and add shrimp if not in a combo. But at Kabuto you can combos- the food is well flavored, but the noodles at Kobe are better - the drinks are so strong! But delicacies Everything in everything is great. And comparable. I'm back.
The Hibachi is always a treat. Our new visit was in the open dining area. It's loud. The service is strange. You simply take your order and do not imagine. It's more like going fast, but slow. Then they want a tip. When the food comes, it's hot and okay. Sushi's okay. Recommend a quieter dining room and experience. In the meantime, you won't find it here.
