Kathryn's Bar and Grill

We went for breakfast and really enjoyed it. We ordered the 3 eggs breakfast, which included scrambled eggs, white toast, and home fries for $6.50, as well as Kathryn's combo, which included 2 eggs over easy, bacon, sausage, home fries, and 2 pancakes for $11.50. The service was excellent, with the two servers being very friendly and attentive. Despite being busy, we were seated within 5 minutes and our coffees were constantly refilled. The food was decent, with the home fries being overly crispy and under seasoned, the eggs being good, and the pancakes being average. This is my favourite breakfast spot in Durham. I live in Toronto and I drive out there regularly to grab breakfast. I love the scrambled eggs, bacon and homefries. The coffee is my fave. Lol. If you love to do regular weekend breakfast with your fam, this is cute little spot. *note* Sat/Sun mornings are always busy so be prepared to wait for a bit. But it’s worth the wait.

I had a delicious breakfast at this restaurant. The service was great, the peameal bacon, scrambled eggs, home fries, and toast were all tasty, and the coffee was excellent. It was definitely worth the drive. Congratulations to the cook for doing a good job! Best, Hamilton

This breakfast spot in Pickering is excellent all day. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and the service is great. They serve generous portions and offer free coffee refills. I definitely recommend this place for a satisfying breakfast.

Excellent wait staff (Sharon). Ordered breakfast food Katheryn's breakfast, pancakes and toast. Food was good and arrived quickly. Coffee was average but plenty of it. Would recommend it.
