Crown Cantina - Reservar uma mesa

I will start off by saying I lived in San Diego and know authentic Mexican food. Cincinnati is so lucky to have a place like this. This food was incredible and ambiance was fantastic and the service was superior. They serve the meals in courses. We started with a queso fundido which was served in a cast iron pan with a delicious sauce, roasted jalapeño and fresh tortillas. We would have been satisfied with just the queso but we also had the grilled oysters. Typically I am not a fan of oysters but these had a nice texture and so much flavor. The tacos are delicious and not overly complicated. Just quality ingredients. I had the lamb Barbacoa taco and it was divine. Our entrée was the chicken...

dreadfully rude and unreasonable to their neighbours. the restaurant closes around 10 o'clock, but sets her music around 11 o'clock so loud that everyone in my neighboring building can hear every word while we try to sleep. there is no one sitting outside, and the restaurant is closed, so now it feels just as if they were trying to defy us. I will never eat in another of these owners restaurants (rosie pizza, crown republic, etc. I have asked myself nicely and said, please and thank them all the other seven times I have called to ask them to turn the music down, and I know several of my neighbors also have. but as soon as we hang up the phone, they turn it 5 minutes later. Great new place! Very small, but I think that provides an intimate, fun dining experience. The food is very good. Service was great too, and we received a complimentary shot after the meal (nice touch)!

Appetizers (guac and queso) were great, entrees fine. Mezcal flight was not good, and cost $62. Absurd price, especially for a flight. Won’t be coming back for a $200 meal for 2 people.
