La Familia Goodlettsville

I love this place. When the woman is out of town, I often listen to the way home from work to dinner. I've recently discovered Pupusa and since Pupuserien appeared all over Nashville, I've tried her all over town. As a damn Yankee from Pittsburgh, I don't know good pupusa from a bad one, but those in La Familia are my favorite. The cobbled cabbage and the sauce here are different from the others I had and they are delicious. The owners are very friendly and very patient with those like me only discover the foods of El Salvador.

We were a few times and were very happy with the food and service both times. You have a good selection of foods, and the Pupusas are amazing! Your service is really fast and pleasant. Great little discovery!

Don't let the location discourage you from trying this authentic cuisine, the prices are very reasonable and the carnitas tacos are spectacular. Very unique for the area, highly recommended.

Great food. This is Salvadoran food, including many well-known options on the menu that you would see in a Mexican restaurant. The costs are reasonable and the service is fast.
