BFF Foodie returns criticism of La Malinche Spanish and Mexican tapas last night. First, this place is fantastic made extra special with good company and conversation. To a large Pinot Noir (Henry Thomas) delicious with a delectable comminuted berry finish starting with the delightful Datiles Bacon wrapped dates filled with Monterrey Jack cheese and Yuca Frita Crispy cassave with roasted Jalapeno aioli sauce; These Yucca-Fries are not your normal deep fried variety, beautiful presentation and the correct amount of aioli had only the right amount. My absolute favorite Happy Hour and Brunchplatz in the DC area! Sangria is incredible and every dish on the HH and brunch menus is delicious! Love the staff! I bring everyone I know here, and they all love it!

Best service, best tapas and best sangria! We love going here week nights and just enjoyed a Friday night. The flan is excellent the churos are amazing. Everything was so delicious.

We always met this place before a show in the nearby Fillmore. Great food and we love sitting outside with a white Sangria pitcher. Many GF decisions too.

Best brunch I've had in the DC metro area! Excellent tapas and good variety of bottomless cavas and **** Mary's is a win in my book!
