Latin American - Reservar uma mesa

My wife and myself were at Latin American Restaurant in Boonton, NJ. We are from out of town looking for home cooking, let me tell you, this was the most delicious food we've had since we've been here. The restaurant is clean and the owner stayed and talked to us for a long while. I had the steak smothered with onions, salad, white rice, black beans and maduros(sweet plantains). You get large portions, my wife took her left overs to the hotel for later. My wife is a very picky eater and she loved everything that was served. We are from out of town and we were looking for a family oriented restaurant that had good home cooking. The food was delicious, I had a whole snapper with white rice and tostones (green fried plantains) and my husband had white rice, black beans, salad and steak smothered in onions. Everything was Delicious and I even took my leftovers to the hotel for later. I can't say enough about the treatment we got from Denis the owner and his wife. He came to our table and we talked and even exchanged phone numbers. I would recommend anyone looking for a homey place with excellent food and staff to go and enjoy your meal there. You will not regret it.

This place is amazing! Service is UNBELIEVABLE! Food is delicious and so tasty. You can also ask them to tweak some recipes to make them 100% vegan. I totally recommend this restaurant. Vegetarian options: You can get a vegan baleada, or rice and beans with plantains and avocado. The owners are very knowledgeable about vegan options.

Fantastic!!!! Everything was made fresh to order. I asked for my guacamole extra spicy and it was perfect. I totally recommend the quesadillas, guacamole and flan. I can't wait to return! I definitely recommend this restaurant!
