L'Auberge de la Pointe

we came half an hour late to Sunday dinner, wanted our meal (to catch a flight) the restaurant was full, and we asked that our lamb is taken away and cooked further. we only had two classes and had none. with other words, we were not the best customers. the coworkers, from excellent mâitre di to the servers, remained helpful and smiling. the location, above the river tarn with a pretty bridge, is charming and the table settings elegant. eating is good and very well presented. both were very saignant and lammed, the hot rhabarbe soufflé were light and delicious. I'm back.

Je suis mitigée et pourtant je met un très bien. Un excellent pour le cadre et pour le service mais niveau cuisine je reste sur ma faim car ça pourrait être mieuxL'entrée avec melon et magret est un loupé pour ma part 2 tranches de magret séché avec des tranches de melon Le plat assiette du pêcheur est avec des produits nobles mais une gambas et une mini saint Jacques avec le poisson font triste mais c'était bon Pour le dessert un moelleux fait maison était bon Une amélioration et ce sera parfait En tout cas l'accueil est parfait

Family owned. New chef in place. Incredibly staid owner and staff. Mostly traditional clientele there for a special occasion. Terrace for lunch though they tend not to bother serving on it if they can get away with it. Zero for staff to Hero for chef.

the environment was good, the staff very attentive, and eating was of a good standard. the only (small) critique was the kartoffel could have been hotter, but the total meal was excellent.
