Le Monde de Sophie

Mariska's charming restaurant was an oasis. We rocked up late and she was about to close, but brilliantly stayed open for us. We had a delicious quiche and salad and a bottle of local Savoyard white wine. The setting is delightful on...the main shopping street in Aime old town and Mariska herself is an asset to this hub in the Alps. I shall be recommending it to friends at any opportunity. Apparently, she has a very popular terrace in the summer...

Just two dishes of the day, so 100% fresh, cooked with ingredients that come directly from Sophie's garden. In the evening, there's a new menu with home-made tapas and good wine. I've been there several times and never been disappointed!

Very small and simple place, appetizers, dishes and desserts that changes every day ! Local products, fresh, homemade and tasty... what else ? I have been there few times and will definitely go back... you will stop the same

We had the best reception. The kitchen is delicious and the wine that was offered to us was very correct, all this for a very reasonable price. an address to be retained.

Mariska went out of her way after she was meant to close and had an important meeting to go to. Oh, and fantastic home cooked food. Lovely!
