Luce - Reservar uma mesa

We were in Norfolk for a few nights for work and my wife commissioned me to find a good Italian restaurant. Looked online and decided on Luce but unfortunately they were booked the night we had free so I left a voicemail expressing my interest in dining there. Much to my surprise I received a call later that afternoon and we were in! That was just the beginning of a great experience. The hostess was super friendly and our server, I believe Crystal B, was Outstanding!! She made great recommendations and her detailed description of the wines was impressive. My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner. Our waitress was very friendly as well. I ordered the Spaghetti Della Pecscatore which was very fresh and delicious. The menu had a wide variety of authentic Italian dishes which I loved. Due to limited seated and the restaurant being very small, I would suggest making reservations. I will definitely be back in the future. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food, Luce is definitely the spot for you. Chef and his team pay attention to the details that make a meal, which I wholly appreciated. I had half of the Mafaldine di Guanciale (my wife wanted the other half and I couldn't tell the birthday girl no) and you could tell that the pork cheek wasn't the mass produced stuff you'd find at the grocery store; it had a real, tangible flavor that complimented the mafaldini and vegetables perfectly. My girlfriend and I visited Luce for our anniversary this past week and were blown away. The bartender was on top of the service and was very knowledgeable. The wait time was exactly what we expected due to the complexity of each dish on the menu. If you are in the area, you should absolutely give Luce a chance!!!
