Mack's Barge - Reservar uma mesa

Trash restaurant that doesn 't care about their neighbors. Mack 's likes to open up the back garage door to their outdoor deck and absolutely BLAST music to the point where the speakers sound distorted until 1-2 am. Tonight I was treated to listening to Because I got high among many other songs. Now combine that music with screaming and yelling. Unpleasant is an understatement. What is worse is there are children like my son who can 't go to sleep yet have school and people who have to work. I 'm currently writing this review at 12:55 am because I can 't sleep due to their noise disturbance yet again AND I have to work at 8:30 in the morning. This will be the 2nd time this week that I get on...

This is a great place to spend a relaxing evening or maybe even a date. The food was incredible with only a few negatives like the burger being slightly overcooked and lacking a little bit of sauce (this might just have been the burger I ordered). Service lacked a little bit with this being fully dependent on the server serving you. If you choose to sit outside you have a wonderful view onto the adjacent lake and all its maritime life. Overall I highly recommend this establishment as it offers high quality food to a reasonable price and a great view. With a little luck on your server it would be 5 stars across the board.

Hidden Gem!!! Everything was great from the host, our waiter, the food atmosphere. The food!!! Home made chips in the Nachos, delicious Hush Puppies, Omggggg The broiled Crab Cakes were pure meat flavorful. Did I mention how delicious the Sweet Potato Fries were!!! I could go on on! We had no room for dessert. Our family was pleasantly pleased to add Mack 's to our go to list when we 're in Norfolk! Thanks for being YOU, guys!

The food was good. The brisket was better than I had at two other restaurants recently. Other people had the she crab soup and said that it was good. The appetizers were very good the carmari and crab dip the hush puppies were nice and crispy on the outside and not greasy. The sweet potato waffle fries were perfect. But the service and the atmosphere at Mack's barge is what will bring me back.
