Mama's Kitchen - Reservar uma mesa

We came on a whim, based on reviews while getting outta town on a Sunday afternoon. So happy we came. Everyone was so friendly, service was great and the food.... so worth a trip from Houston. Great southern cooking!! We both had the small chicken fried steaks based on all the positive reviews about them. And they did not disappoint!! Fried mushrooms were perfect and my husband loved his fried corn. Sorry no photos, it was THAT good!!! We will be back if we are in the area again.

Mama's kitchen is the hands down the best food I had. The atmosphere is super secret and cozy makes the place comfortable. The service is friendly, very easy to go people. The waitress is good with the kids. Everything was phenomenal. I had breakfast omelet and my husband had a baconburger (it is really big). Both were great. I recommend Mama's kitchen if you ever go through or stay for a while.

Very clean Old Hometown, Home-cooked Southern Food. Okay customer service, nothing to rave. The food was delicious and GREAT TEXAS portions. It is worth enjoying a trip to Sommerville, Texas. Outside the seats you can take your fur babies.

Wow! Loved this place! Loved the terrace seats! Food was wonderful, not only great portions, but really reasonable prices. The owner was there and very sweet! I'll be back in the area next time!
