Manila Central Market

My husband and I stopped in the store for the first time Thursday night. First of all, when we walked in, we weren?t even greeted by the staff. Then the food didn?t really look that great to begin with but we decided to try it anyway. My husband and I have eaten Filipino cuisine before when stationed in Korea and this food tasted nothing like that?. The beef stew was too vinegary, the empanadas were unusually sweet, and the veggies tasted salty. My husband and I were highly disappointed. We didn?t even finish all the food and threw it in the trash. Forty dollars down the drain just like that! Sad to say, we will not be going back a second time.

There is so much to love about this restaurant shop oh, the first time that I was experiencing Filipino food while I was in the Marine Corps, this little, but has some very tasty food and there are also some food that you don't find otherwise, I highly recommend trying the garlic cracker nuts since you never had them, a very tasty snack. Otherwise for restaurant-style food, you can never go wrong with the lumps, pork adobo, pancit canton, grilled pork roasts or believe it or not the goat stone that is very sharp and tasty. There are countless other dishes I would suggest, but I don't want to sound like a menu.

This is the only Filipino restaurant near us and although they have good food and essential things we need, it is very unorganized. There are some dishes that add sugar and if you do not order the food for catering in time, there will be someone else. Waiting to check also takes a while. You answer the phone while you check out a customer and actually caused one of our commands to be grounded. You should invest in a second register. Overall, it is a decent place for authentic Filipino food. I need a better organization.

Filipino food is great! The staff is also great! Too bad they didn't come in now, but it was nice to talk to Filipinos.

Very accommodating! And the food was super t?was very authentic! My children love eating! From Cebu to all 11/10???
